LifeLines is a volunteer-led project for people aged 50 and over in Brighton.

LifeLines runs activities and one-to-one support schemes to help people stay more active and better engaged with their communities. Volunteers are recruited, trained and supported to start up their own activity groups at a suitable venue and support activities from computer lessons and ballroom dancing through to bereavement counselling.

Activities take place at Patching Lodge (on the corner of Eastern Road and Freshfield Road, opposite the Gala Bingo Hall – please click here for a map) and other venues in East Brighton and are inspired by our volunteers. We always welcome new ideas and new activities are regularly added to our programme.

For details of all our current activities and where they are being held, please have a look at our latest Lifelines Activities Leaflet for activities in Patching Lodge, East Brighton and Woodingdean.

We are always eager to meet any new volunteers and help you find a cause or group you want to get involved in. If you would like to speak to us about our volunteering opportunities and how you can get involved, or if you would just like more information about volunteering in Brighton, then please contact us.
